(Updated) Bobbie was my therapist for about six years. I remain grateful for her dedication to and compassion for me. When I was a client, a number of people on staff went above and beyond to show their support including Debbie Clark and Dr. Barbian. First Presbyterian made a tremendous difference in my life. As I said, I am more than grateful.

I had a disappointing experience with Bobbie Lackey and Christian Counseling Center. I now go to Agape Counseling and Training Services, and would highly recommend them as an alternative. Throughout our first session, Bobbie's cellphone kept going off, and I didn't feel like I had her full attention. She explained this was because of a family member in the hospital. Two weeks later, at the start of our second session, I asked how her family member was, and it took her a long time to remember who was in the hospital and why. ... read more

Bobbie was my therapist for six years. Like another reviewer's first appointment, mine was lackluster, too. Bobbie and I are both reserved, and I did not feel any compassion coming from her, either. I decided not to make another appointment but kept that thought to myself. As I was walking out the door, however, she asked if she could hug me.
