I got my dress from here during Covid and it was amazing. Loved that it was made to measure since I had a large bust and hips but a small waist so standard sizing was quite off and would have required a lot of alteration. They even added enough structure to the bodice that I didn’t need to wear a bra. Definitely a great dress shop in SF unlike the others! High quality fabrics. Ali was great. Worked with Ali to custom design my wedding dress. I highly recommend using Lace&Liberty. If you go to try on dresses and you cannot find one you love, go custom. We did it all over zoom and the dress is made to you, which makes tailoring less expensive. If you are hesitating- just do it! You will not regret your experience.

I had a horrible experience at Lace & Liberty. I went in, excited for a custom dress, and spent 1 hour designing it with an employee. I showed inspiration such as embroidered dresses and they'd always immediately respond with how they have just the lace and proposed something that looked completely different. Nancy at Lace and Liberty was great! While I didn’t end up pursuing getting a custom made dress due to time constraints, my experience at Lace and Liberty was just what I would want if I were going to do so. If I had more time I would be so excited about designing this dress from scratch with Nancy!
