I have always had an excellent experience with the lab before and after Cooper's acquisition. I never go early, as I know that most people are fasting and want to have their test done as soon as possible. Late morning I'm always in and out and the staff are very nice and very experienced. I previously had a problem with other labs because I have small veins. But the Cooper lab staff always suggests to use a children's size for drawing my blood.

I've always had a great experience. I typically go in the afternoon and service is pretty fast. Staff are always kind.

This hospital and lab are the biggest scam artists! My husband was in the ED 2 days prior to going to this lab with what his gastroenterologist believes was a bacterial infection. Of course the staff in the ED ran the most expensive tests that they could and didn't bother with what would have given them a more definitive answer based on the initial blood work results. Called ahead to make sure they are on the Penn med system. Was told yes. My mom got there and was denied service. They kicked her out and said they will call her later. Let's see if they ever call

Lab opens at 7 am. Arrived at 6:55 to get in line like cattle for a simple blood draw, only to be told that, being uninsured I'd have to wait til the billing office opened at 9. This should be made absolutely clear on the website so people don't encounter this silliness. 2 stars because the rest of the hospital is quite good. This is my third strike with this fiasco you call a lab. Every visit is some new procedural problem.
