Went in to get checked out because I was concerned my baby was moving less towards the end of my second trimester (I'm more anxious this time around because we had a miscarriage before getting pregnant with this one). One of the nurses made it seem like I was wasting their time over something that ended up being fine. Fantastic medical staff. The nurses, anesthesiologist, and midwives went the extra mile with everything. Everyone was especially amazing when it came to educating my husband and I extensively about what was happening in the labor process, different options for medical care, what to expect postpartum/taking care of baby, and pretty much anything we’d need to know as first-time parents. I had pregnancy complications and was dismissed by all nurses and 5 different doctors. Told we were over reacting and were dramatic. We eventually moved hospitals and found out I actually had issues. I’ve heard so many similar stories to mine. My aunt who delivers here was treated incredible and was shocked at the way I was treated when she was with me. I cannot recommend them or their staff.
I had a wonderful experience delivering my first baby at Madison Memorial. The nurses were very attentive and kind. Shout out to Abby and Karen. Suzanne did a fantastic job monitoring my care and delivery. The lactation specialists Trisha and Charlotte were also great!
