Best delivery service in the valley – LAbite has been the best expierence I have had in delivery. I read the negative reviews and I would have to disagree. Of course, it may be different in different parts of the city, but my delivery has always been great. For one, they have always been on time... and for the record, they have also always gotten my order correct. I hate to read negative reviews when my service from this company has always been top-notch!
Only as a last resort! – This service is so slow! Yes, you do have a good selection of restaurants to choose from, but it takes them forever to get your order to you. Make sure you're not hungry when you order because you will be furious when they don't deliver on time. I've used them 4 times and all 4 times they have been late. Although, I must admit that they're great on rainy days...it saves you from having to venture into the rain!
Slooooooow delivery times – Well, because I am terribly lazy and they have a decent selection, I am beholden to LAbite. But boy, do I wish that wasn't the case. The service fees definitely do jack up the price and they never deliver by the time they say they will--which is usually at least an hour from when I order in the first place. I miss NYC where you can order directly from the restaurant for fast delivery at no additional cost.
The Key to Delivery in LA LA Land! – You can't get food delivered in LA like you can in NY. Pretty much the best you can do is pizza or chinese. Enter LABite.com. They offer a variety of restaurants with different cuisine in a wide price range. There's a small delivery fee and they have a wide delivery area. The staff is quick, efficient, and courteous.
