Hello, I recently had came into the Labcorp here in Vista on March 23rd. I had scheduled my appointment same day to have routine labwork which they offer to use your preferred name. The phlebotomist had asked "Is this what you go by?" only to be ignored and refer to me as my legal name. Though, I had corrected him twice, he never tried. He only printed my preferred name to send my blood tests to my surgeon because he stated they would send it back if they had my legal name on it. The phlebotomist was extremely incompetent. Sara pushed the entire needle down to the base into my arm at a perpendicular angle. My vein is readily available at the surface of my skin. She blew through my vein. It was extremely painful. She then put on the tube and nothing happened. Obviously. Then she pulled the needle out a little and my blood started to flow. I’ve been going to this lab for years and the girl that took my blood Today was rude, and acted like she hated her job.I just kept being nice and polite then She left such a bad bruise on me that I am still in pain almost 12 hours later. I’ve never been treated like this before.
Man, this place is a joke. I came to Labcorp this morning to get some blood work done. Took me 10 minutes to figure this place wasn't for me and walk out the door. The receptionist was short tempered, condescending, and rude. It's like like they really "do not" want your business. Well, I'll happily take my business to a company that has manners.
