Poorly run lab. I had an appointment and still had to wait for 40 minutes to be seen. There was only 1 person working both the desk and specimen collection. During the 40 minutes I was waiting only 3 people were seen, none of which took more than 5 minutes, an there was a stretch of more than 20 minutes that not a single person was called back. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
I’ve always had very pleasant experiences at this LabCorp, and notice that the staff recognize repeat patients and are very friendly with them. The process is to check in at the kiosk and then sit down and wait to be called. Many people check in at the kiosk and try to to go directly to the window to finish checking in (which is not the correct process) then they get annoyed when they are asked to take a seat and wait to be called.
I went for bloodwork and drug screening. I was there at 8am to make it to work on time at 9am. No one was there for bloodwork. This situation didnt just happen today. It has been consistently happening. Only the front desk person was there and she was there by herself and wasn’t communicated that no one was going to be there. One person operating the whole lab. I get to my appointment at 8, to a room full of patients. Around 9, i realized that no one is being called in, I go to the lady by the window to inquire, she said she is not drawing blood because she is the only one running the place. So i left. Disappointing experience at this location due to the unprofessional and rude demeanor of front desk staff. One female employee (facial piercings) was particularly dismissive and came across as openly rude during my visit. Her tone felt inappropriate for a healthcare setting and she appeared impatient and unprofessional when interacting with patients.
