I found the lab to be very efficient. I have been several times for lab work. The receptionists have always been very kind and pleasant. The nurses that take blood are very good as my veins tend to be very difficult. If you pre-register, the process is seamless. The office itself could use a bit of cleaning, but other than that, I don’t have any issues with this office?
I called 3x to see what payment method I needed to bring. No one answered so I brought cash, credit, and debit. The receptionist informed me after the testing was done that I had to pay with money order. I had my child and asked if they could bill me. She said no, I had to go to Publix and get a money order. My son is autistic and I was trying to explain the visit had already sent him into a meltdown and there was no way I’d make it to Publix. I had a disappointing experience at this lab due to the behavior of one of the collectors; Mrs. Karlonda. Very blunt, rude and unfriendly. The interaction felt unprofessional and lacked basic customer care. When patients come in, especially for medical services, professionalism and respect should be a priority. I hope management addresses this so future patients have a better experience.
For me to write so much, my experiences really were not acceptable. It would be zero stars for this unprofessional, unclean, and incompetent lab if I could leave no stars. My child and I have had awful experiences here on two different occasions. My son was reprimanded by the technician because his blood would not flow and because it hurt him. This place is ridiculous. My son had blood work done here, they didn’t send his results to his Dr. If you call LabCorp they do not answer the phone. Maybe it’s time to hire new people . They deserve a 0.
