Staff are taking their sweet time while every chair in the waiting room is occupied. Patients are expected to check themselves in. I had a problem with the check-in kiosk, and I stood at the reception desk for 10 minutes before someone finally acknowledged me. I have been here for half an hour, and I still haven’t been called back to give my bloodwork. I don’t have all day to be here. This labcorp location is managed very poorly. None of the employees seem to care either.
My gastroenterologist gave me paperwork for LabCorp to prepare for endoscopy/colonoscopy: I was told an appointment was not necessary, walk-ins were accepted. Arrived at facility on a Friday afternoon and was greeted with near hostility and indifference by a person acting as receptionist, who said they DO NOT take walk-ins, contradicting the information written by office staff on the specimen collection sheets.
