Fran, I believe her name was, treated me very poorly and I felt she escalated what could have been a pleasant "my bad, I'll come back with the paperwork" conversation into making me feel stupid. Yes, I AM aware that I am in a Labcorp, thank you very much. I can't say I've had better experiences previously, either. My experience was quick and Laura was INCREDIBLE. I would come back here for her any day. She was nice from billing and insurance all the way to the actual drawing. I have had good experiences at the Washington Heights center (aside from the phone number going to a voicemail today saying the office was closed at 1:15 on a Monday afternoon). Laura drew my blood today and got me in one shot (I have difficult veins, which I let her know about). I prepped by hydrating for 3 days and running my hands under hot water in the office, to get the veins ready. What normally takes 3-10 sticks, Laura got it in 1. Yay!

They skip you, they check you in twice because the first person doesn’t ask for the order, then when you ask they catch an attitude. They are short staffed and there is no apology for the extensive wait or explanation for the wait. There should be a separate person upfront taking the patients info and forms so the techs can handle the overload
