My daughter had to come to the office (Conyers) for a blood draw. She hasn’t been feeling well and didn’t eat enough before going. After her blood was drawn- she passed out. The amazing ladies there jumped into action and took great care of my daughter, with water, snacks, cold rags- all the things! I was a scared mama and they made everything better! Thank you ladies!!! You all are ROCKSTARS in my book!!
The lady at the front desk was extremely nice, but when she drew my blood she bruised my arm and it’s been a week and I’m still in pain. While she had the needle in my arm she was attempting to label the tubes and in the midst of that she was moving the needle up and down in my arm. As a phlebotomist that’s extremely unsafe. For patient safety hold off on labeling the tubes until afterwards it only adds an extra 2 seconds.
It started out really good, until I got called to the back to get my blood drawn. This girl must be new because she didn't know what she was doing. She stuck me 3 times. The 2nd and 3rd time my veins bubbled up and she kept fishing through the vein in my arm. Then the last one she shoved that butterfly needle all the way in until my veil bubbled and kept pushing on it. While the 1st vein she just let it bleed and didn't even put a bandaid on it. What a day.. Ms Beth at the front desk was soooo amazing. My day was not going well with my 4yr old autistic son, being busy and very challenging of all things asked of him. My son needed blood work and I came right before lunch.. like 3 min…. Anyway, she was locking the door and saw me at the sign in. Right away she greeted me and said she will be over to help.
