Front desk receptionist turned off all the check in machines and hid in the back of the office I heard her on the phone and I kept saying hello anyone here and then she got quiet and when Tony one of the lab rooms and hid when I was waiting in her lobby for 20 mins for 20 mins!! then whent downstairs in the Labcorp van and did not acknowledge me at all or speak to me when I was standing in her lobby for 20 mins unacceptable . To all my neurodivergent friends who have anxiety about blood draws, THE TECHS ARE EXCEPTIONAL! I'm autistic and I have the WORST reactions to blood draws but I didn't even feel it! At all! Huge relief. Other reviews are correct about the wait time, but I think that happens everywhere. Just be aware that there's no people at the desk for check-in, it's all done by kiosk. If you have any special requests or questions, try calling in advance!
Giorgio drew my blood and he was so kind and accommodating. There were some complications and he was so nice, helped me get more water, get more comfortable and repeatedly reassured me.
I was the first person here, at the top of the checked in board yet they took someone that walked in after me first. What is the point of having an app and checking in if they don’t go by who checked in first? My appointment was for 6:30 and I didn’t get back until 6:48 and sat there for another 10 minutes while the tech was on the computer. The waiting is ridiculous! However the phlebotomist was pleasant.
