I had a bad experience with the 3700 fleet street branch. The receptionist was so rude, i came on time to my appointment and while checking in she told me that i had a previous balance and i have to settle that balance before checking me in, i told her that i need to make a phone call and i stepped out. I made a payment plan i went in to check in again and i told her that i settled the issue, she told me “no” she won’t check me in. The woman at the front desk checking folks in was so helpful and efficient. Her interactions with patients were warm and friendly especially with explaining procedures. She even looked into an insurance question for me to make sure I wouldn’t end up with a surprise large bill for a test.
You never ran 2 out of 3 of the tests ordered so I had to go to patient first and pay out of pocket to run them again. When my doctor called yesterday the representative said they would email someone and I never heard anything again. I won't come again unless I'm reimbursed for the extra money I had to spend on the incompetency of Labcorp paying for the same test again at PatientFirst so I could have the tests before my surgery this Tuesday. Blood draw was quick but they failed to run 2/3 tests ordered. Now I have to scramble to find somewhere else to do a fasting blood test during the weekend because they never ran any metabolic tests or responded to any phone calls or emails even from my doctor. Just go to patient first on eastern avenue instead to know they’ll actually get everything done because they have a quicker turn around time anyway. My 1 yo had an appt for a blood draw. I was worried that whoever would be drawing her blood wouldn’t be skilled enough to get the sample swiftly. Thank God we had a young man that took her blood, and was able to get the full sample on one try. I was impressed by his expertise, calmness, patience, and skill. He suggested my daughter drink some water after he was feeling around and couldn’t feel anything… she did and he was able to then feel a vein, and then successfully draw the blood.
