easy to get an appointment for same / next day visits online but wouldn’t recommend coming in without one due to delays with communication barriers and a SLOW elevator. bring print orders, they don’t accept digital except via fax and email. Emily (one of the phlebotomists here) really takes the time to explain things in depth amidst the chaos and is very kind — almost like a character straight out of The Pitt TV show LOL
Bruised from a blood draw nearly 12 hours afterwards! The needle was too thick for my small veins. This is the first time in my entire life (and I’m 57) where I’ve had bruising from a blood draw. Plus I had an allergic reaction to the tape used to hold the gauze in place. It was similar to masking tape! I saw someone else walk out with the correct wrapping (it looks like sports tape for injuries). The staff is sparse. The woman taking my blood was gruff and rough.
