Walked in. Friendly staff. Professional.
The lab is way understaffed which is not a one off problem. I have had a few visits over the past few months and each time I have had to wait for 1.5 to 2 hours. All because they only had 2 people working there Fortunately I have a flexible schedule but for those who work 9-5 jobs they will have to take the day off to get their work done. On top of that I was giving a urine sample so had to sit holding my pee for 2 hours which is completely unacceptable. I feel so bad for the staff here!! This facility is always so busy and they usually only have 2 staff. 1 receptionist and 1 Phlebotomist who usually ends up doing BOTH jobs and left alone frequently!! Super long wait times. I have watched several people leave or fall asleep on several occasions. Come on Labcorp. STOP over- working your employees!! They need more staff at this facility!! At least 2 receptionist and 2 Phlebotomist!! It is not fair what you are doing to your sweet employees!!
Ridiculous amount of wait time. Ridiculous. We got there as soon as they opened at 7 am. Walk in no appointment. 3 hours for routine blood work. Don’t walk in you may wait for HOURS. even if you have an appointment you may wait for hours. You check in and your name doesn’t even show up on the list. So you wonder if you checked in right. Imagine the DMV but you have to pee or you haven't eaten or drank for 12 hours. There are so many reasons why LabCorp is designed as torture. It makes no sense why they're only open for 6 hours a day when everyone is at work or school. The only time to go is at 7am. But, since that is the only time that makes sense to go, EVERYONE is there. Do yourself a favor if you have blood work being drawn. Make your appointment days in advance and just take off from work.
