I was so impressed with this place! I made an appointment for 9 am and was expecting to be seen late but was seen right at 9 and was out by 9:15! I loved my phlebotomist Chantel she was so sweet and chatty and I could tell she really cares. Overall a much quicker and more pleasant experience than I expected! There is also a nice sandwich cafe next door to wait or immediately break your fast if you fasted before hand 🤣
I have no idea how it takes so long to draw blood. I’ve never had to wait close to this long at Kaiser, Sutter, or anywhere else. There are only 5 people ahead of me and I’ve been here for close to 45 minutes already. Unfortunately, that just seems to be par for the course for LabCorp and if you need to get blood drawn from them, whelp, sorry. Not clear if there’s a better location.
No labcorp closes their register 15 minutes before closing time, but they do. There is no signage or anything to get to the building. If you can, go to the San Pablo one, avoid this location.
My best blood draw experience. Arrived at 8:15 and was out by 8:30. I have poor circulation, a fear of needles, and am nauseous in the morning due to a medication. Fasting labs are always rough for that reason. These ladies had an ice pack on my neck, a trash can in case, bud and a water ready for me. They were so kind and patient.
I was there at 9 and there were already six people ahead of me . The receptionist answered a patient who came in 2 patients before me and was given a wait time of approximately 1 hour . So I settled to wait, glad that I brought a book with me. I heard the receptionist call for help, and amazingly even before help arrive, I was seen in less than half an hour! The phlebotomist was great because even though every other phlebotomist had said I had tiny veins, she found one immediately and was done in less than a minute. **Kudos ... read more
