Had an appointment. Sat there for 15 minutes for them to call me and then tell me they can’t access my labs because their computers are down. Couldn’t they have said that you need me to have my orders in hand when I checked in? My lab order has been there for weeks. If the computers are that faulty, print out the following day’s appointment orders as a backup. The staff was absolutely wonderful they got us in immediately - I wish I could remember her name but there is one woman specifically who mostly takes care of babies and children, she was so extremely patient with my 9 month old. She put on Miss Rachel, gave him toys, talked to him, gave me options about how I wanted to go about drawing his blood when it was becoming difficult. She would not stick him until she knew for sure she had a good vein and was so extremely gentle, I had to get my blood drawn as well and I didn't even... read more
Could not recommend, 2 hours wanted
I have used Labcorp many many times, dozens over the past 25+yrs and I can say that I have never had a negative experience other than one time the phlebotomist struggled to get my blood, which isn't an offense in my opinion, maybe just an off day for that tech, or my body wasn't it's normal self. I have to give a shoutout to the wonderful staff at this location. I had to come here twice recently for glucose testing, the first being a 1-hour and the second being a 3-hour. For both visits I used their online pre-scheduling and it made things so easy. For the first one, I totally forgot the printed lab script at home and the front desk staff worked with me kindly and patiently to work around that issue.
