My daughter needed lab work for employment. Simple test. Dehumanizing Experience – No Care for Basic Human Dignity I came here for a simple routine blood test, but what I experienced was shockingly inconsiderate. Despite being a patient, literally waiting to have my blood drawn, the staff refused to let me use the restroom because “I hadn’t been called back yet.” I explained that I really needed to go, but they showed zero empathy or common sense. My best ever experience at a Labcorp. Andrew made my visit so painless and enjoyable. I don't like needles, and he talked me through the process and distracted me with small talk so that I was able to get through the blood drawing process. He's truly a professional and such a kind soul. I'm so grateful I chose this location. There was a woman who assisted as well, I forgot her name, but she was kind as well. I will say this. I had a chaotic check-in experience at this LabCorp location. They couldn’t find my medical orders, even though the tests were ordered through LabCorp. I had to explain why I was there while they tried to sort it out. It eventually got resolved, but it was uncomfortable and took longer than it should have. They were also running about an hour behind my scheduled appointment, which defeats the purpose of booking a time slot.
