Didn't answer the phone when I called. No answer....no recording. I had a 7:15 appt. It's 7:45 now. I inquire and am told, we're running a little behind. Others leaving as their appt times have come and gone and we all have places to be...that we scheduled, around our " appointments". Update: now...8am.....45 min late....
Today December 4Th I was getting my monthly blow drawn. This is the 3rd time that I am visiting this location and I never had an issue. However, today, the receptionist (female, young, hispanic) was very mean, un-professional. Never said good morning. She took my ID and medical insurance and throw them in the desk. Also, she never ask for my co-payment. I had to tell the phlebotomist to ask for the payment. The receptionist clearly did not knew what she was doing. She may need to get trained again. Staff are friendly and courteous, I make appointments (online) for all of my visits and rarely have to wait past my appointment time. In and out in about 15-20 minutes. Now if you just “show up”, then expect an extended wait time.
You make an appointment, come in early like they request and then they still make you wait way past your scheduled time.
This is inexcusable. I have been waiting for 1 hour past my 9:45 appointment to do a drug screen. Your company needs to take a hard look at the service level afforded to the patients who take the time to prepare and make appointments. I should also send Labcorp my child care bill for this appointment, since per protocol I was instructed to make proper arrangements. INEXCUSABLE!
I come here every 3 months and every 3 months I make an appointment and every 3 months I have to wait for all the walk-ins who came before me. Why offer appointments? ! Lab work costs way too much for this!
