I usually take my 15yo son once a month for testing during the week. I love all the woman that work there. Today I went on a Saturday and was an employee I have never seen nor met before. She told me because of Covid I was not allowed to accompany my child in the back. I have never heard of not allowing a minor to not be allowed to have his parent Mom there with him as he was nervous did not know this woman and is scared and hates getting needles. Disgrace
I am at labcorp waiting for bloodwork in Flagstaff, AZ right now. The tech called someone back 2 people out of order. The lady in front of us has waited over an hour and we have waited almost an hour and she took the lady that has waited 20 minutes, I pointed this out to her and she said oh sorry and then kept working with the person. RecommendedMy daughter requires multiple blood draws. She panics and cries, like most children do when faced with a needle. However, Each and every time that we have gone to a LabCorp draw center, it has been actually pleasurable! Fantastic and skillful technicians who are child friendly, parent friendly (as a nurse I can be overbearing and watch a little too closely!).... and the scanning in at the easily scheduled appointment time is simple and quick. (Tulsa, OK) We are in the middle of a worldwide pandemic and in a city with a mask mandate. Neither of the employees checking me in where wearing a mask, and to top it off, one was coughing and clearing his throat the entire time. They handled my cards/papers/pens and handed them back to me with no gloves or sanitizer or even single use pens. Then the gentleman coughing everywhere is the one who took me back to draw my labs. Can you guys maybe come up with a system so people who are just dropping off samples don’t have to wait a ridiculous time in the waiting room in the same queue as those getting physical labs at the office??? I mean seriously, I had to wait in the waiting room for half an hour just to give the paperwork and then EVEN LONGER just to go to the back to hand over the sample, which wasn’t for myself but for my infant daughter who wasn’t even present. Have necessary supplies on site! Answer the phone. Needed to have blood cultures done at the Swedesboro NJ site went 2 different days and they did not have correct bottles to collect specimen. I was told to call the next day. Several calls made and they do not answer the phone. I am a health care professional and will never recommend this lab to any of my patients
Don't bother making an appointment. Watching walkins go right in i have been here 45 min. Told them I have to do a urine test and can't hold it. They don't care
You need to retrain all your lab staff on very very basic customer service skills, or else not overwork them to their breaking point so much that they mistreat, yell, or condescend the clients without any repercussions.
Customer service sucks in Athens GA. PLEASE retrain your staff!
