Horrible experience. The front office lady just sat there talking with the fedex driver for 40 minutes while I waited for her to confirm my information. I then asked if she had received the email of my referral and she told me she forgot to check. Then she accused me of being the reason she forgot to do her job. I then told her there was a rec number to look up my information, and was told "yeah we dont do that because they dont work." I then asked her to try and all be damned, it pulled right up. Informed me after making me sit in a room with no people for 20 minutes and joking with their coworker, that they would not complete any blood work until a past due balance was paid that I was unaware of and attempted to shame me for not have had this paid before then. Simply did not pay and took my services elsewhere. Cant imagine labcorp will stay open for much longer with these practices.
This place is sad!! It is so sad that our parents and grandparents have to deal with people like this. Life is tough for everyone. I get it but to be rude and lack of patience when it comes to the elderly is insane yiu don’t know what people are dealing with health wise or mentally. If you don’t love your job then leave!! As for the management make sure you are hiring people that are cut out for the position not just a body to fill the position!
I just had a wonderful experience. I made an appointment for 9:15 and showed up around 8:45. I did wait because I was early but I was in almost exactly at my appointment time. When I got to the room I explained some of my past experiences and what had worked in the past as I can be difficult to have my blood taken due to smaller veins. The tech/nurse was lovely and helped me tremendously and she even double checked and got help with another tech/nurse to make sure my experience went well.
