Stay home – The food was better than the service that was bad at best. My advise stay at home. food, service, price all were very poor.
Worst Italian Food in the City – By far the worst Italian Restaurant in Seattle city limits! The wine didn't come until we went up to the bar to ask for it, and they still brought us the wrong wine. Our appetizers never came, on top of that, the specials were twice as much as a regular entree ($17.00) and the food tasted like it had been re-heated and wasn't filling. When our bill finally came (about half an hour after asking for it!) they had charged us for our appetizer. It was clear that the waitress did not believe us an... read more
Superb Pizza – I really love this very Italian style pizza, and it's reasonably priced, too. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff is friendly although occasionally a little absent-minded. The pizza is unique in the city, and frankly I can't recall ever having this type of pizza in any city before. I love good American style pizza but this may just be the best. I also have ordered some excellent appetizers here. Overall this place is great and I'm very glad it's in the neighborhood.
Yummy – One bite and I knew the pizza was made by an Italian. It melts in your mouth just like the pizza in Rome. We had the kind with capers and anchovies and no cheese. The decor is very attractive with matching fresh flowers. The service was very good. I think we stayed after they had closed but they didn't mind at all. I inquired about who cooked the pizza and at the end of the night she came to say thankyou and goodbye.
Great Italian Food – The food is great, the value is good, the atmosphere simple but nice. The service is fantastic, especially when it comes to recomended wines. I will eat here again.
REAL ITALIAN PIZZA!!! – I have finally found pizza that is just like the kind I used to eat while living in Italy...the ingredients are fresh and simple and the crust baked to perfection. I could eat a pizza here every night along with a glass of wine. The decor is warm and inviting and the waiters are always so welcoming. This is the gem of Belltown and by far the best pizza I've had since being in Italy!
Quaint and authentic – I have eaten here numerous times, and each time I am not disappointed! The homeade pasta melts in your mouth and the wait staff is kind and cute! The mom works in the kitchen and makes the pasta while the sons wait on customers. They also own the pizza joint next door, which is equally excellent. The prices are great, too! Very cheap! Try the bruschetta!
I was not disappointed – I've been in a couple times for lunch. I like the salads here - they are simple but well prepared. Also the panini that I have had were good. The only concern I have is that sometimes service can be a little sluggish, but I have not had what I would call a bad experience. I would go back.
two thumbs up! – My husband and I were in town for our anniversary, happened to walk by the first night and followed a delicious aroma outside to a GREAT meal inside. The bruchetta and the pesto ala pepe were PERFECT! very delicious, mellow atmosphere, and the service was really nice, especially considering we walked in 20 min before closing. We plan to go back before we leave, strongly recommend it!
