Have been going for years. New menu is a big let down. Vodka sauce is not what it used to be. Maybe other meals on the menu are better but I am disappointed because I liked going to La Vita. I'm not sure if it's still the case but the past few pizzas have also not been as good quality, they become hard as a rock once cooled down.
As one of my favorite restaurants I was very disappointed by the new menu, incredibly small beet salad and dry pizza that had breaded artichoke and breaded chicken on it. Who breads an artichoke??? We both feel we won't return again.
The food was great, dinner took a long time, very relaxing.
Excellent hamburger and pizza! Top it off, if was open mic night and if was like a down home jam.

I loved it years ago, I loved it six months ago, I loved it yesterday... I love it always! Unfortunately for me, I live in VA. My twice a year LaVita fix is barely enough, leaving me to decide between delicious, "are we sure we aren't in Rome?" Pizza, and "maybe I really can eat three plates of penne in one sitting... to "sure, after the appetizers, entree, the other entree, a few drinks... gimmie that warm brownie/ice-cream deliciousness." Always a good time, good food + good friends= perfection.
