We loved everything about our dinner at La Veranda. The food was terrific. We dined outdoors, and the atmosphere was relaxing and beautiful. We were a group of 23, celebrating our granddaughter Jolies' 16th birthday, and everyone was very pleased with the service and excellent food.
I've been coming to LaVersnda for 30 years. Last night was the worst meal I ever had there. I was with two friends. Two of us preferred the veal pizziolla and one order veal Marsala. Not one of the meals were up to standard. Also, changing the salad was not a good idea. All the times I have eaten there I never had one complaint until now. None of us finished our meal and we didn't want to take it home. Maybe the chef was having a bad night

Patricia I humbly apologize for your experience. When I approached your table and asked if everything was ok. I was told by everyone at your table that it was ok. The change of the salad in "question" was We decided not just to go with a standard "iceberg" but to give our customers more than the standard. A spring mix. Next time I will gladly give you your salad of your choice.
The atmosphere was amazing! The food was affordable and authentic! Can't wait to go there again and bring my friends and family.
My wife and I were at La Veranda celebrating her 75th. Birthday, and what a joy it was for the both of us. We hadn't ever had the pleasure to dine there previously, and our experience there was second to none. Everyone was so nice, and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. The food was wonderful, the waiter was great, and we know we will definitely return sometime real soon.
We've been coming here for years while on vacation & although they're under new ownership, they've done pretty good keeping with the old. The decor more modern, menu very similar, bread almost as good, but the staff nothing like it used to be. They're untrained, disorganized & not as polite. You could hear one waiter say "this sucks I'm not on tonight" which was very unprofessional for a quaint setting. The hostess was not like seeing the former owners greet you, but yes I'll go back to give it another try.
