Not sure of the name of the older woman that greeted us when me and my brother walked in for lunch but she is awesome. We are here from Fresno since my bro is competing in the Ironman and what a way to welcome us. Food and service are excellent!
This is our FAVORITE date night spot! The food is delicious and fresh and we can use our GoLocal card. I always recommend La Vera to friends and family (or strangers) visiting the area.
We became La Vera fans on their opening night in 1983...crazy crazy night but obviously Rick and Sue made it though that evening as its now some 35 years later in the same location. Since that evening La Vera became one of our go to family and date night restaurants and still remains close to our hearts for all the great meals. Rick's pizza and pasta are outrageously tasty.
