The margarita was not good but the food was really tasty especially the pazole
Our go too place in the neighborhood. We must go there twice a week. The food is flavorful, fresh and delish, the service is extremely fast and efficient, the people are so nice and offer the best service. They also have some really great cocktails. I love being able to order at the counter, especially with a group of people. And the atmosphere is super cozy, great mexican influence on decor, and artistic yet modern in a way.
Absolute gem of a spot in cozy Oak Park. My partner and I both got the carne asada breakfast burrito as bowls and oh my God. The combination of black beans and melted cheese under the rice base was absolutely incredible. The toppings were great too. Highly recommend getting a chip topped with the egg, meat, and veggie combo, then drizzling the perfect green salsa on top and chewing in bliss. 10/10 would recommend and return!
They can do all their burritos as bowls which is great. I had the breakfast asada one and it was super bomb.
Service was fast and people were super nice. The restaurant was clean and had very nice decorations. The fries were really good. The guacamole was also good. The carnitas taco was flavorful. The fish taco was bland and the fish tasted not fresh. The carne asada taco was extremely bland. The meat was not seasoned at all. The salsa that was on it was not good either.
