The only words I can come up with to describe this place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Great service, the food is absolutely to die for good. Homemade food, nothing from a can, I ate every bite though my stomach hurts cause I stuffed it too full but I couldn’t stop eating! This is our new favorite restaurant and will now be regulars here! If you want real authentic homemade mexican food and great service and a wonderful welcoming environment come eat here! Would have rated 20 starts if I could!
Been here 3 times now. Tried the shredded beef enchiladas and the Carne Asada nachos. Both are delicious. I rarely eat enchiladas but theirs make me want them every meal. The sauce is tasty without being overpowering. The Carne Asada is perfectly seasoned. Service has been great. We have tried a lot of Mexican restaurants and this is our favorite for both service and taste.
I have been searching for a good Mexican food restaurant since moving to Vancouver. La Valentina is a good option! I ordered the Carne Asada plate, and some of their (made in house) flour tortillas, with some butter on the side. I was very pleased with the food, it was all delicious. Service was excellent... awesome even! I even asked them is there was a panaderia nearby, where I could get some pan dulce... and they recommended Jorges bakery. I will have to try some of their other dishes... looking forward to it!
After being so disappointed in many of the Mexican food restaurants in the area we were lucky enough to come across this fantastic restaurant, thanks to our daughter. Service was outstanding, food was delicious, prices were fair. We found our new place for Mexican food. Highly recommend! 10/10!
