Poor customer service! Went to La Strada one night this week to celebrate my aunts 80th BD. There were 6 women in total. Two of my aunts are in their 80s, one in her 70's, my cousin in her late 50's, and two other women in their 40's. The food was wonderful and we were having an wonderful evening. We were at the table for approx. 2 1/2 hours and our bill came to almost $250. We tipped 30%. I guess we lingered to long at the table because after we paid the bill the Maitre de asked if we could move to the bar because he needed... read more
Excellent Italian Restaurant I started coming here since my old favorite restaurant closed down and I'm glad it did since this one exceeds all others. The food is amazing and I am very picky when it comes to good italian food. They have a wide selection to choose from. The place is a drop small but they take reservations so there is never a wait. They serve a huge salad with every meal (for us it's family style since we've always gone with 4 people but I believe if you go with 2 its served individually). Try the hot antipast... read more
La Strada This restaurant has excellent Italian food although it is a bit pricey. You still get your money's worth, though. I went there on Valentine's day and the restaurant was nicely decorating, setting a good ambiance. It's always busy, so it gets a bit noisy.
My favorite on Staten Island I've been to many restaurants on Staten Island and sadly to say a lot of bad meals. I went to a party here a couple of years ago and haven't stopped. The food is exceptional and so is the service.
