I lived at La Sombra Apartments for a year while I attended training at Ft. Huachuca. I looked and did my homework before deciding to stay at La Sombra, it was the best decision I could have made. I wanted a decent place that was cheap and close to the Fort. I had no problem getting my deposit back, but of course I gave a 30 day notice and I cleaned the place as well as I found it. I have lived at LaSombra Apartments for over one year and checked all the rentals in the area before deciding to stay here. As a woman living alone, feeling safe is important to me and I found that here. I havent been able to find any other rentals in the area for less rent that are as well kept up, clean and quiet. The location is great. LaSombra is 3 miles from the entrance to Fort Huachuca and 7 miles to Sierra Vista.
This is a quaint little complex that is close to Ft. Huachuca. I have stayed here twice while in training on the base. The owners and tenants are very nice and the prices are great! Will definitely stay again if I need to.
This is a nice apartments. If one like the ---- roach that have been spray so said the land lord. Oh, the furiture is old and about to break. The pumping suck, not sure what come out of the sink no could or would tell me. Never see water that come out white and stay murky. Oh, was not forget about the snake that crawl all over the place. Land lord will not give back deposit and will come with bogus lies about what the money was use for. Tenant must pay in cash or money order but they will pay former tenant in check.
