Sandoval should be ashamed – Look at the other reviews on this Sandoval outpost and they are consistent with our experience last night. They do NOT have their act together in the front of the house -- service is slow, disorganized and uncoordinated. Food and drink are okay but way overpriced for what they are. Bottled beer only -- come on Sandoval, this is Colorado, home of the micro brew. Maybe when your competition is White Chocolate and Brio, you just get lazy. Stay away unless you enjoy overpriced mall food.

Excetional Customer Service – This was on 2/25/11 around Lunch time This was our second time we came to this restaurant. It was one of the best experiences my wife and I have ever had. The first time we had Saul wait on us and this time we had Lia help us. Both servers were excellent and customer service was high on there priority. They were very friendly and they made sure we were well taken care of. Patrick was a great chef who went beyond the call of being an exceptional chef. Horrible Service! – The food here is all right, assuming you actually get waited on. We've tried this place at least twice. The last time I went with my kids, one of whom is a toddler. When I asked for another minute to order, I didn't see the waiter for at least 20! We luckily had an appetizer but my baby didn't have the same waiting capacity as the rest of us and so by the time the food arrived, she'd had it. This isn't great – I've eaten at Sandia twice and the third time, just left without even ordering because no patio table was available on a beautiful summer evening due to "lack of servers". Here are my views on the Pros and Cons of this place: Pros: great patio, two story, mountain views, nice bar on the patio, lounge chairs, well decorated and designed inside, easy parking and access. Bad Mexican Food – My wife & I love Mexican food so we thought we would try La Sandia @ the park meadows mall. We were seated right away, but it went down hill after that, the service was slow. The cheese enchiladas were too salty to eat and the black beans had no flavor. The beef burrito I had was just ok. I would not recommend this restaurant !!!!!

Great addition to Park Meadows! I just ate here for the first time a few weeks ago and loved it! The food was great, and very unique. Everything has a little spicy kick but nothing bad! My little brother (age 4) loved his bean burrito, and I loved everything I ordered. The rice is particularly flavorful! Loved it!

Awesome food They have an enteresting selection of food. It's mexican style but not tradional. Everything I have ordered has been wonderful. I particularly like their tequila flight to sample different tequilas.
