The main hotel clerk we dealt with was very professional and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast left something to be desired. The muffins were great, the eggs were OK, but the sausage and potatoes were terrible; undercooked to say the least. The elevator had to be the slowest I've ever been on; it took a full three minutes to go from the first to third floor when we were the only ones on it.

During our cross-country travels, we’ve stayed at many hotels, and this La Quinta Inn has been our favorite by far! The staff was incredibly friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the amenities were wonderful. We especially appreciated the free laundry, pool, and pet-friendly atmosphere. We’re traveling with our cat, Loki, who usually hides under hotel beds as soon as we arrive. This is an older La Quinta, and since it's not right near a major highway I think maybe they don't get as much business. There were several areas needing repair. We had a kerfuffle about the room, because I had reserved a handicap accessible room, and we needed a couch but the person at the desk misunderstood. Having said that, she fixed it immediately and was extremely attentive and pleasant. It was HOT in the lobby - maybe the AC was broken? But there she was, providing really good service. I was on my way to Wichita Falls , had a reservation, did online checking, and an hour later got text that they had canceled my reservation and that I should try another location. I tried calling at least two hours but the hotel would not answer the phone, sutomer care even tried contacting the hotel with no luck. There is absolutely no managerial responsibility.
