This hotel has lost it's good points charm. Checked in. TV not working and amarn clock broke. The TV remote had greasy something on it and the TV stand that I can only describe as pizza grease. Unfortunately, I did not noticenit until I grabbed it. Took it down to the front counter abd showed, what I guess ,was the manager. He looked at it and set it aside. My stay was below average. We did not get the room we originally booked, the pool was closed (which I wasn't told about until after paying, and is the only reason I booked), breakfast was not set up on time, and our room was never cleaned.

We booked with La Quinta to get away for a few days and enjoy. When you first walk in the lobby it is extremely musty and smells like water damage. We get to the room, settle, turn on tv and it is damaged. They switch us rooms next door. Turn on tv and also damaged. I expect to get what I paid for. It is not my job to manage or maintain this hotel. We paid more compared to other hotels in the area expecting a great experience. We will be reevaluating where we stay from now on. We have 3 chihuahua's (very social and people friendly) and La Quinta staff in Tomball TX treats them like their family.
