Excellent hotel for night working day sleepers. Hotel food was average. They also have a mini store for food and drink.

The La Quinta Hotel in downtown Spokane, WA was okay inside. The service was also decent. However, there were many drug addicts and thieves loitering outside. When a wallet was stolen in the hotel lobby, the hotel did not report it to the police. The thief was also caught on camera. When I notified the police, they said they wouldn't come to the hotel to collect the video evidence; they told the hotel to send the video online to the police. Hali at the front desk was great! The room, not so much. The first room had a soiled bed spread, Hali was quick to move us. The second one had issues too, but we were tired and made it work. The beds were uncomfortable, the mattress covers were noisy, and the paper products were rough. As for the "secure" parking lot, it's not. The back gate was left open all night in a part of town that has a very high presence of transients. Safe, secure, exceptionally clean hotel. The location is great, right off the freeway, and near all the hospitals. There is a lot of "people activity" nearby and especially at night, but the area is managed well.
