This hotel was extremely disappointing. Breakfast was the main reason we booked, and it was not worth it at all. Tacos ran out by 8:30 a.m. even though breakfast is advertised until 10:00 a.m., the selection was very limited, and seating was insufficient. Guests weren’t allowed to take food to-go, yet there weren’t enough tables or chairs. Beach towels were rarely available, the pool had a visible film on the water, and our room was in poor condition with cracked and missing tiles. Trying to get a room 30 minutes before check in time was difficult. They were giving me such a hard time and did not even consider my girls wanting to take a warm bath in the room after their time out in the pool since it was cooler than normal average weather here at south padre. Then when they gave me a room, it was getting cleaned when we got up to get in. Me and the family patiently waiting down the hall not wanting to pressure the housekeeper. Beautiful ocean view. The staff was super nice i rate this place a 10/10 I would go back
It was a decent stay, the fire alarms kept goin off after midnight for like 3 days, and the back balcony door of room 240 wouldn't open unless you turn the Lock of the door (shown in vid) so, idk, food was alright, drinks were good , beach access was perfect tho :) ☀️
Cons: Avoid staying here if you are seeking rest and relaxation. They have an issue with their fire alarm system. We stayed here two nights: one night, the fire alarm activated three times and the other once. Additionally, the walls and floors are paper thin. We stayed on the 2nd floor and could hear every single step the people above us took, including a child who must have thought the room was a trampoline. It was not pleasant.
