I stayed last night at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham South Holland, an Indian-owned hotel, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The restroom on the ground floor was out of order, there was no working ice machine on the second floor, and the shampoo, conditioner, and body-wash bottles in my room were all empty. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at this La Quinta. Upon arrival, one of the first things we noticed was bowls/containers sitting on the lobby floor to catch water leaking from the ceiling. That should have been our first warning. We paid almost $600 for a two-night stay, and unfortunately, the water issues continued in our room. The air conditioner was leaking, leaving the carpet wet. For the price, even with the Chicago price bump, I'd expect more. But we're traveling with animals so we made do.

Bed bugs and rude staff. Housekeeping doesn't speak English. Snacks overly priced. They don't provide quarters for laundry
