I would say the hotel is noticeably striving to be better and isn’t terrible. The staff were generally nice and accommodating. The sheets and towels were clean. Breakfast was nice and plates/cups clean. The only issue I had was with the floors and tables. In our room the tile might have been wiped down but not deep cleaned. There was a walk path on the tile where dirt was building up to give the floor a darker appearance on the edges where people don’t step. Same thing with the carpet just needing a little deeper clean. We arrived at midnight. Nobody was at the desk so we called. The desk manager came immediately and got us a room. He was very nice. The room was very dirty. Trash behind the night stands, hair on the floor. Walking around in my white socks the bottom were black. The night stands weren’t even wiped down. There was a stir stick and Bobby pin on night stand. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough.
