This place is AWESOME!!! We spent 19 days. I cannot say enough GREAT things about this La Quinta. The staff is fantastic and very friendly. The location is very convenient. We spent a lot of time on the north shore. An area we had not spent much time in. It is a little bit of a drive to the Quarter. But we did go down to the quarter for coffee and donuts. Plus a St. Paddy's parade, as well as one our favorite po'boy shops NOLA. I would STILL RECOMMEND this hotel to ANYONE and EVERYONE!!!!
We checked in at midnight and lady at front desk was super nice. Room was clean. Breakfast was good.
My experience was pleasant for two reasons: no one was there and my room smelled fine. There were two guys in my group who left this hotel and went across the street because they didn't like their rooms. The water in this area is awful at all the hotels so be aware of that. You'll likely still feel soapy after you rinse for 10 minutes. La Quinta is renovating the top floor so perhaps that is a sign that they are updating the entire hotel which was built in 2008.
