Clean facility with friendly staff , good value for the money! Would give it 3.5 stars if I could. Since I wrote this the motel has closed and is now being turned into a homeless shelter by the king county.
Great hotel, friendly service and quiet rooms. I was worried when I noticed that we were positioned right next to the ice machine but you can't hear anything in the room. The only trouble we've had was finding parking.
We stayed at La Quinta Inn at NE Northup Way Kirkland, WA in December 2021 Receptionist guy in the night shift was very nice and decent. But the hotel itself is not very clean. Elevator smells filthy and floor is pretty nasty. Room was very cold when we got there , they didn't run the heater and smells like old stale carpet. They also allow pets which is ok but if you are allergic to pet hair then it's not the hotel for you. You will see traces of pet hair on the bed linens.
