Walked into my room and was slapped in the face with the smell of mold. Located the sourced which was damp carpet around the window a/c unit. I notified the front desk and they did nothing. All the photos you see taken by others are accurate, the rooms are neglected when it comes to maintenance and simple upgrades. Why would anyone sign up for Wyndham Rewards when their properties look like this? This is not the first La Quinta I have seen like this, but it will be my last.

It was very quiet and relaxing environment where I got to actually relax and I'd have to deal with everyday drama it was just making simply the best hotel that I've been to so far in Sarasota other than resorts but simply just delightful..

There were stains and burns on the linen. Most of the furniture is outdated and pillows have not been washed. But the place is close to a lot of things. I guess price has a lot to do with its presentation. One of the biggest things is they do not shampoo rugs so all the floors smell like pee and feet.

The only thing great about this stay was the service. The rooms were ok! We only needed a bed and pillow. This wouldn’t be an option for us again if we come back to Sarasota.

We love our stay in this particular La Quinta Inn, because it's closer to downtown and airport. The room is clean and perfect size for family of 4. The staff were very accommodating and helpful, especially Mr. Fernando. Free breakfast and they always have coffee and fresh water 24/7. If one thing they can improve, I can suggest that the hallway carpet needs to clean and deodorize. Over all our stay was great! Tingly recommend this place.
