Im never the type to write reviews because I keep my business to myself, but this hotel made out trip infuriating. Me(17) and my boyfriend(18) had come to this hotel since Omaha had a state law you had to be 21+ to book a hotel. We entered in and we told the man up front that we wanted to book a hotel for one day, the very first thing he said was "how old are you bro" in which my boyfriend showed his drivers license, hes a 2006 male so he was turning 19 this year. this would’ve been an EASY 5 star review. the staff was amazing even through our water outage debacle, explained what was going on and letting us know what our options were. Thankfully the water company got the water back on in a shorter amount of time! We were among the few that stay even though we had to make other arrangements for self care and cancel some plans. we never complained. As part of my first ever stay in Omaha, I was optimistic about staying at La Quinta. Reviews were good at the time of booking, so my girlfriend and I stayed for 1 week. That was definitely a mistake! The highlights: - Housekeeping staff entering our room **while our do not disturb sign was on!** HUGE violation of trust, and frankly unacceptable unless there was an emergency (there wasn't -- all they did was drop off towels). - Our shower curtain's tension rod was broken and needed maintenance to reinstall it to avoid floodin... read more
