La Quinta SAVED us when we had a terrible reservation at another hotel that was a complete dump. The staff was AMAZING, the pool was so relaxing and free hot breakfast was awesome, and the room was huge. The room had the normal beach wear and tear that happens with all beach hotels, but was fairly clean and had a great lock on the sliding door (we were on the first floor). Took a last second birthday trip, 2.5 hrs to Daytona beach, I read the reviews and chose to book because a friend recommended it. I checked in at 5. Dropped off our stuff in the sweet double bed room with cold AC. We got an ocean view room 221. We went to the hot tub then out for a birthday dinner for Italian nearby, got back walked down to the ocean to listen to the waves under the stars. (Note: Bring a flashlight) We slept well. Great stay at a great price. Rooms clean, breakfast was good, staff is friendly. Will be back!
ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!! Lady at front desk has NO Clue what she’s doing!!! We ended up going to the Hilton instead. That’s all I’ll say about that.
