At first entrance, the space was clean and inviting. The breakfast was good, it was just our room. We had a king suite. It was very musty smelling. I could barely stand to be in there for long. I really needed an air freshener. We booked that room because we were in need of the additional pull out bed. It was disgusting. We were there for two nights. The housekeeping was WELL below par. I would rather make a good review if a place deserve a thumb up or just not do anything if the places I visited are just a mediocre, but I am sorry that I can not not review this place. Most of the time when we traveled, we stayed at a bigger hotel chain, but it was not available in Kerville. So we decided to stay in La Quinta. I must say it was not a good experience. For a relatively small town La Quinta, I had a roomy, clean king suite WITH a huge smart TV. Minor complaints aren't important when I have the homey advantage of watching my prime video. Many much more expensive hotels around the country are lower tech.
