Everything was great! The lobby and hallway smelled amazing! Romel (sp?) was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and kind. The room was super clean, spacious and nice, and cool!
My friend booked this place due to location but Clearly without reading previous reviews!! I came to visit and was APPALLED by conditions: roach infestation, stained bedding, dirty bathtubs… YUCK! I made them switch rooms twice and same situation. I was scared of the roaches different sized roaches in the room and bathroom so I left immediately— Later learned their names were on 4 different rooms and had to fight them about charges. The hotel is a good location if you need to be in the Sugarland/Stafford area. I reserved this not expecting a 5 star experience. The room seemed okay but then you notice the very outdated A/C unit that also had the sealant so visible in the wall it looked like it was just installed. It looks nice on arrival, but the renovations inside the room leave a lot to be desired even for the price. On arrival we noticed 1 of the 2 elevators were out of service, fine. Upon arrival I was not moved by entering the hotel, however the guy at the front desk was very pleasant. I was upgraded to a king room free of charge and was very happy about it. got to the room and was heart broken. this was a vacation for me, seeing the old room, nasty walls, roaches and mold, i immediately got my family out of there within 5min i was issued an immediate refund and so i appreciated that so much. very grateful. i was a little vexed bc the front desk was spraying air freshner bc i had left over gumbo with me... read more
