Overall for the price this is a great hotel. Easy access but short on parking. The parking in the back is tight and a bit creepy at night. Rooms are clean fairly well laid out and comfortable. We were generously given a room upgrade when we arrived allowing us a bit extra space for our 3 night stay. The unit had a couch but I couldn't find the extra linens for it as we would have liked an additional cover. There was no long table to use by the couch but a small one. It's the middle of the summer and their pool was closed for the duration of our stay. We had young kids with us in our big group and we booked this place specifically because it had a pool. We were not notified about the pool closure ahead of our arrival, nor did their website mention it. They were good about changing our rooms when we asked, though, since they smelled like smoke even though they were non-smoking rooms.
The bed sucked, had a spring jabbing me in the rib all night. The breakfast was very sad looking. I had to go chase down some body wash and shampoo at 1am, as there was none in the room. The wife found a german cockroach (these are those little ones that are near impossible to get rid of once you have them). If there was 1 we saw, there will be 1000s more we didn't. We arrived late with our 4 month old and 2 year old. By 1 am I was finally ready to shower only to find that there was no shampoo (after I was already in the shower and completely wet), body wash, or hand soap in our room. The provided shampoo was empty and there were 2 conditioners. Normally I bring my own but this trip was last minute. My husband was able to go to the front desk to get the shampoo and body wash but they were out of hand soap. The next morning I also saw a live German cockroach crawling along the wall. The room was nice and clean. AC was nice and cool. Breakfast B+. Staff were very nice. We were leaving from that direction and it was a great location for us. Lots of restaurants to choose from for dinner that you could walk.
