Rooms were clean,bed was OK. Did not see any bugs! The fake phone with the cord removed in room ?? Why? This hotel seems very transit with guest. Lots of local workers. It worked for a qwick overnight stay on our way to our destination.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. During the ice storm Jan 2026, we were on our way home from vacation and got stranded at Houston Airport We decided to rent a car to drive the rest of the way home. We made it to this la Quinta in Fairfield. We were greeted by the smiling face of Francis. Our tires bodies and minds were up lifted by her Cheery disposition. She sweetly up graded our room. Beds are comfortable, but there is a cockroach problem so maybe don't eat the breakfast.
Greeted by Colby at front desk - friendly helpful awesome. He was made aware of our situation- one of our cars was broke down- he put us in touch with his GM Terry who also told us about Frances their morning gal- who put us in touch with the exact person who could help us on a Sunday in a small town. The staff at the Fairfield La Quinta are wonderful!! Colby, Francis and Terry were welcoming and amazing. My family and I came in with one of our cars having engine troubles. The staff worked hard to get a mechanic out to us, on a Sunday, who managed to get our car working to get us back home. So grateful for them. Also, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the grounds well maintained. Thank you for taking such good care of us!
