The breakfast offered the usual items, the main problem is they were out of several items with no refill. Our room was mostly good, the two main exceptions were lots of long black hair in the bathroom and needing some maintenance there as well. Check-in was good.
If you’re local to Dumas and need a room for the night, look somewhere else, but not in Dumas. They “have a policy” that they don’t rent to locals and they own pretty much every hotel in town! They will let you check in but then call the cops and make you leave!
my family had the cops called on them because they were “local”. got checked in the night before with an ID that had a dumas address (they no longer live here) but were not told about the policy at check in. they had 4 cops and a deputy show up to kick us out and we’re NOT notified at all before the arrival of the police. were told the manager had everything to do with it and it was 1 embarrassing and 2 handled completely wrong. do better.
The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and will help with anything you need. The breakfast is very good. The manager and his team are amazing.
The room was great, the only reason not giving a 5 star is bathroom, the shower had a little leak that affected the water pressure and no racks to hang towels and tub had small stain.
