I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The rooms definitely need some updating, there were quite a few little fixes that stood out, and overall the space felt a bit dingy. That said, everything was very clean, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable, which made for a good night’s rest. What really made the stay worthwhile was the service. Yaz provided excellent customer service. She was very knowledgeable about the hotel and providing help in accessing amenities such as soap, toilet paper etc. I also welcomed her bilingual language abilities and a warm professional character. I would definitely recommend Yaz at this hotel, and in my opinion, after visiting hotels for over forty years, and my experience as a senior citizen, Yaz fits the Category for a well deserved promotion. My experience at this hotel was very negative. I was removed under the claim that I supposedly treated the staff poorly, something I strongly deny as I have always been respectful. What is truly concerning is that the same manager who made that decision engages in questionable labor practices: housekeepers are forced to continue working after clocking out at 3 p.m., meaning they work off the clock without pay.
