The check in was easy. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was all friendly and helpful. The room hallway carpet is very gross though.
Stayed 10-21-25 in rm 227. It’s no Ritz but decent. Under $100 so that’s nice. Good space. Clean room. Comfortable bed. No bugs. Quiet. WiFi was spotty but ok. AC worked well. Old school tv guide but 2 TVs in the room. The front desk area did have that “moldy” smell but everything else was good. I always question staying in metroplex because of poor reviews and bugs but this is a good city and decent hotel. No issues.
This hotel has a lot to improve. When you walk into the lobby, there’s a bad smell—like wet carpet. The breakfast, compared to other La Quinta hotels, doesn’t have much variety. It has the basics, but in other La Quinta hotels, there’s a wider selection of breads and muffins, and you can find things like croissants and bagels, as well as Nutella and cream cheese. Website and phone call said free airport shuttle included. When we arrived and checked in, prepaid, they said no shuttle on weekends! That’s why we chose this place! No attempt to satisfy or comp. They said third party messed up. I’ve been staying at La Quintas for over 30 years. Never had such a screw up! Won’t be back!
Nice hotel for the price(cheaper than others) rooms are really nice and microwave and refrigerator is clutch. Only reason i gave it 4 stars is because the bathtub needs to be replaced or deep clean. The bathroom smell makes you want to bring a candle. Location is great, its not too far from the airport and highways and parkways are 5 mins away in any direction.
