I was towards the end of my drive from New York back to Phoenix, Arizona (less then 10 hours to go) when I came through this town - Dalhart, Texas. I find myself just wanting to stay a few nights. I found the locals, the business owners or employees of the establishments I have gone into - to be very friendly. I would even say extremely friendly and lovable! I’m getting hugs from total strangers🥰! I will sign up for that all day long.

Kari and the staff at the Dalhart location are absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcomed. A special thank you to Kari for the thoughtful gift—the candle smelled wonderful, and we truly appreciated the air freshener, snacks, and water. Great staff service which makes a whole world of difference. We have a plethora of experiences on several high end hotels but what makes a great stay is the friendliness of the staff. Great job to Kayleigh and Sherry! Also, this hotel has a great detail for the kiddos. They give them a coloring book once turned in, they receive a very generous snack!
