First Stay at La Quinta – Decent, But Some Misses This was my first time staying at La Quinta. I chose it mainly for convenience, even after seeing some negative reviews beforehand. Overall, my stay was okay—nothing major went wrong. My room was adequate for my needs, clean and somewhere to sleep for a few hours. Would not recommend. Was told one thing and then they recounted what was said days later to charge me. Kept my deposit without informing me due to ‘late checkout’ which has never happened to me before. I am a platinum member with Wyndham and have spent thousands with them, and was treated less than. This chain will never see another dime from me. Customer service was terrible
I stayed there with my brother on Thursday after driving straight thru from Michigan. We slept and around 8am our 2nd car arrived from Michigan and went in our room to change before we went and checked into our Airbnb. I was charged an additional $30 bc 2 family members met us there to change their clothes. They didn't notify me they didn't say anything and then when I called said that I was charged bc we had additional people spend the night. Fraudulent practices by this property. I came home at my last night and my door was open and my power bank (the only real valuable in my room) was missing. When i called the reception next day the management (according to what they said his name was Jeff and it was also another Hispanic man) told me that they are not going to check the camera for me to find out what happened, being terribly disrespectful and unhelpful and as I kept asking why they got the cameras there in the first place they just hung up on me...worst experience I ever had in an Hotel so far
